We have had an amazing summer! I can't believe that school starts next week and that we have to return to the work world. Beckett has grown-up so much this summer. He is talking like a little man with the cutest little lisp! He continues to love animals...especially his puppy "Boo" and really loves playing outside. His favorite place to play is the cabin where he runs off the dock by himself (wearing a life jacket of course) and pops up from underwater like it's no big deal! We are very impressed by his aquatic abilities! He also loves to "shump" or jump as the rest of us call it :). He jumps off furniture, on our bed, on his new big boy bed, on trampolines, in jump houses, etc...jumping really is his favorite thing! Landrie has celebrated her 3rd, 4th, and 5th months this summer! She was also baptized this summer! At her 4 month check-up she weighed 17 pounds and was 27 1/2 inches long. She loves to babble and she also makes the cutest little growling sound...just like her cousin Quinny! She is rolling everywhere, so we have to be careful where we put her. She can sit up assisted and is loving solid foods. She especially likes bananas and sweet potatoes. She has continued to be an amazing sleeper. We truly had an action-packed/non-stop fun summer. Beckett loved the Minnesota Zoo so much that we decided to take him to Safari North which is the brand new zoo right by the cabin. It was a hit!
