One Year and a Month

Beckett's First Birthday!

Where has the last year gone?  Everyone told us that the first year would go fast, but we can't believe that Beckett is one year old!  This last year has truly been the best year of our lives!  We can't wait for many more amazing times with our precious little boy!  Enjoy some pics below of the birthday festivities! 

On Beckett's actual birthday (January 16th) we felt that we had to do something special, so we took him to a frozen yogurt bar.  He LOVED it and I'm sure there will be many more trips to Freeziac in the future.

We had a cookie monster themed brunch for Beckett's party. We felt so blessed that so many family and friends could come to celebrate Beckett's special day!

Here are some of the photos of Beckett opening some of his gifts.  Luckily he had some help from mom and his cousins Hadley and Kellan.  He received way too many gifts...such a spoiled little nugget!

 All the kids were WAY into this gift...a toddler trampoline from Nana and Boompa.  They couldn't even wait for it to be assembled before jumping on it!

11 Months & Christmas!

Beckett is 11 months old!  He is standing and taking a few steps, but is not quite ready to walk.  He crawls at unbelievable speeds, so he isn't missing much by not walking! He is saying a few words including Dada, Mama, Uh-Oh (in context...which is really cute), Lola (we tried to get him to say Bean, but no luck yet!), Titi, Nana, and he has on occasion echoed his own name.  We can't believe how much he changes seemingly over night!  Every day is a new adventure! December has also been exciting because we celebrated Beckett's first Christmas.  He loved all of the wonderful gits he received, and has been independently entertained for the last week!  We have had to put away some toys due to overabundance and lack of space!  We are so blessed to have such generous aunts, uncles, and grandparents; however, the best part of this Christmas season has truly been all of the time spent with our amazing families.

We went to Macy's downtown to see the "Day in the Life of an Elf" exhibit with cousins Hadley and Kellan.  They were all very distracted by all of the fun stuff to see...this is the best group picture I took...

Snow!

It was an exciting weekend...Beckett's first ever big snowfall!  We took him out for a short but memorable sled ride.  Check out the pictures and video of the event as well as some other fun shots...

Nana and Boompa's Christmas Card! This was also the day that Beckett got to meet his new cousin Henrik for the first time!  Henrik is the most adorable little peanut ever and we are all in love with the little guy!

10 Months & Thanksgiving

Our little nugget is 10 months old!  He continues to grow...and grow...and grow! Beckett has some top teeth coming in which are joining the two bottom teeth he already has.  He is just starting to walk with a walker toy, and he is really into table food, especially bread and cheese.  As always he continues to be a little joy in our lives!
