Beckett's 2nd Birthday

Today we celebrated Beckett's 2nd birthday!  The party was Mickey Mouse themed...Beckett is obsessed with Mickey Mouse! We had a great little brunch that consisted of egg bake and a Belgian waffle bar.  We kept the party low-key this year and only had family attend since I am 32 weeks pregnant and getting slightly uncomfortable! :)  With it being so cold lately, we feel like we can never leave the confines of our house...It was great to have lots of cousins around to play with. I think Beckett is getting sick of only playing with mom and dad! Enjoy some pictures below from today's festivities as well as some pics from our trip to the cabin last week and one of my 32 week belly! :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Beckett!

Presents! Beckett is one lucky little dude to have such generous aunts, uncles, and grandparents!

Beckett's gift from Mom and Dad was a Thomas the Train toddler roller coaster.  It took a village to put it together, but it was worth it...it was a HUGE hit with all the kiddos!

 The inaugural ride!

Everyone got to try the Thomas roller coaster...and they loved it!

Cake Time!

Everyone enjoyed some birthday cake...

Christmas 2013

Shortly after our last blog post, we received some pretty tough news.  We found out that one of our twins, the baby boy, had passed away.  It was a shock to us and our doctors and we will never really know why this happened.  It has been a long month and a half of healing and reflecting for our family.  We believe that everything happens for a reason, and we know our little boy will always be with us as a little angel in heaven. We feel beyond blessed that our baby girl is still doing well.  We had an ultrasound yesterday and found out that she is continuing to grow and thrive.  We are at 30 weeks today, and she is in the 75 percentile for weight, which is great!  Thanks you to everyone for your continued support, thoughts, and prayers...it has meant the world to us!  Besides the health of our baby girl, we have had a lot to celebrate as it has been a wonderful Christmas season!  We have been fortunate to spend a lot of time with family...

Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year full of fun festivities!  The fun began at the toddler Halloween party at the Karsnick's.  Beckett played with his cousins and others, ate some treats and ran wild! On Halloween night, he went trick-or-treating with "Dada."  Even though they only hit up about 4 houses...they had a blast.  Beckett learned to say "Happy Halloween" and "Trick-or-Treat"  We even let him have a couple pieces of his candy right before bed :)  All in all it was a very fun Halloween!  Check out some fun pics below as well as an adorable video of Beckett talking to himself in the mirror.  He can't quite say Beckett...instead it comes out as Babbit...it's too cute for words!

All the toddlers getting cookies at the Karsnick's party...like flies on a pig roast ;)

Beckett and Kellan...mischief!

Nugget News and Beckett's Fun Fall

We had our 20 week ultrasound of the twins yesterday and it was amazing!  They are big and healthy and everything looks great...which was the best news we could get :)  Another exciting piece of news is that we found out we are having a boy and a girl! Beckett gets a brother and a sister...lucky little dude!  We are so excited for what our future holds! Check out some ultrasound pictures as well as some of our fun fall activities!
